American Rheinmetall appointed Mike Milner as Chief Executive Officer of its munitions business and named Chris Haag as Vice President for business development and strategy. The defense firm executed these appointments to strengthen the company’s crucial presence across the North American market.
Milner immediately assumes leadership of the munitions division, bringing more than 35 years of experience in the defense sector. He previously served as director of business development and strategy for the company’s vehicles division for over five years.
Milner’s background includes extensive service in the U.S. Army, where he held key positions like director of soldier and maneuver systems, project manager for the armored multi-purpose vehicle, and project manager for the Excalibur program.
The organization expects Milner to continue delivering advanced munitions and energetics, ensuring reliability, precision, and mission success for military partners.
Haag, appointed to drive strategic growth, joined American Rheinmetall in 2022 and previously served as senior director of business development. In that role, he oversaw capture efforts for combat, autonomy, robotics, unmanned vehicles, and various systems.
Before his tenure, Haag worked at major defense contractor BAE Systems for nearly five years, most recently as program manager for precision guidance and sensing solutions.
He also held leadership positions at CALIBRE, Merrill Technologies Group, EnPro Industries, and IMMI. Haag served in the Army earlier in his career, holding roles including medical detachment commander and assistant squadron operations officer.
His experience and strategic insight will strengthen partnerships, drive expansion, and align the U.S. business with Rheinmetall’s global vision.
