Precise Systems appointed Matthew Orsino as its new Chief Growth Officer (CGO). Based in Lexington Park, Maryland, Orsino now directs business development, customer engagement, and the company’s strategic initiatives across its defense and technology sectors.
Scott Pfister, Precise Systems’ President and CEO, highlights Orsino’s qualifications, stating, “His strategic mindset and operational experience will play a pivotal role in advancing our growth trajectory.”
Pfister notes that Orsino’s proven leadership and profound grasp of the Department of Defense (DoD) ecosystem make him an exceptional addition to the executive team. The company believes his expertise ensures they will continue delivering innovative, mission-ready solutions for their customers.
Orsino brings more than 28 years of extensive experience within the defense sector. He specializes in strategy, operations, and business development for U.S. Navy surface and aviation programs.
His history includes successfully leading corporate growth efforts in areas like sustainment, modernization, and readiness. Orsino expertly expanded presence in both U.S. and foreign military sales markets by utilizing his deep knowledge of capture management, proposal development, and strategic planning.
Before returning to Precise Systems, Orsino served as CGO at Valkyrie Enterprises, where he guided corporate growth and capture strategies across defense and civilian markets.
His previous leadership roles included Senior Vice President of business development at T-Solutions and Precise Systems, Vice President positions at ICI Services and The Columbia Group, and Executive Vice President at McKean Defense Group.
Earlier in his career, Orsino held program management and leadership roles at industry major organizations such as SAIC, L3 Technologies, Techmatics, and United Technologies, beginning his career as an analyst at Northrop Grumman.
