Safran Defense & Space Inc. (Safran DSI) named Christopher Keeler Space President of its space solutions division, immediately tasking the industry veteran to accelerate the company’s expansion and capabilities in the U.S. space sector.
Keeler assumes leadership of the U.S. space business, encompassing critical areas like spacecraft propulsion systems, onboard communications, space domain awareness, and advanced ground systems. He will directly manage key growth initiatives and advance the production of small satellites at the new Space Hub facility in Parker, Colorado.
This hub is currently qualifying and validating its production line to quickly begin U.S. deliveries of advanced space systems.
Keeler brings more than 25 years of deep defense and space sector leadership experience to the role. He recently served as vice president of space systems at General Dynamics Mission Systems, where he directed satellite and mission programs for both government and commercial customers.
