Vibrint recently expanded its leadership team, naming John Martin as Vice President of Business Development for its crucial Maryland region. Martin’s appointment is a key move, immediately bolstering Vibrint Business Development efforts as the company drives for greater success in the national security, defense, and intelligence markets.
Leveraging Decades of Defense Expertise
Martin brings over two decades of extensive experience in engineering, consulting, and defense programs to his new role. He began his professional career as an engineer within the Department of Defense before shifting into senior roles that directly supported national security and intelligence missions. His prior leadership experience includes serving as the CEO of Dynamic Technologies, following various advisory and executive positions at ProObject. Furthermore, Martin actively supports the regional defense community through his board service with the Fort Meade Alliance.
Driving Mission-Focused Growth
Martin expressed his enthusiasm for joining the team, citing Vibrint’s unique ability to successfully pair “cutting-edge technology with a culture that successfully delivers.” He emphasized the company’s collaborative environment, noting that innovation genuinely serves mission outcomes. This focus on aligning technical capabilities—such as high-performance computing, SIGINT analysis, and mission resilience—with critical national security needs is central to Vibrint’s overall strategy, fueling future Vibrint Business Development success.
Sustained Expansion in National Security
The new hire underscores a period of sustained, aggressive expansion for the company. Vibrint has nearly doubled its size over the past two years through strategic acquisitions that deepened its technical expertise and expanded its customer base across the defense and intelligence community. The company recently appointed Skip Maselli as Vice President of Business Development for the Virginia region, reflecting the firm’s coordinated effort to strengthen its East Coast footprint.
Chief Growth Officer Amy Steinberg asserted that the growing business development bench is designed to precisely align the company’s combined capabilities with a broader spectrum of mission portfolios and programs across the national security community. CEO Tom Lash concluded that Martin’s choice to join the firm speaks directly to the company’s culture, current trajectory, and the significant impact the team delivers at the mission edge, driving greater Vibrint Business Development momentum.
