VTG, a leading provider of technology solutions to the government, successfully acquired Miklos Systems Inc. (MSI), a Fairfax, Virginia-based technology company. This strategic transaction significantly expands VTG’s National Security Capabilities by integrating advanced software development and intelligence-focused technology services into its portfolio. The acquisition represents a major milestone in VTG’s aggressive growth strategy for the 2025 fiscal year.
Strategic Integration and Mission Alignment
VTG President and CEO John Hassoun welcomed MSI, noting the immediate synergy between the two companies. MSI’s operational excellence, integrity, and strong commitment to mission success mirror VTG’s own core values. Roland Burdett, President of MSI, shared the enthusiasm of MSI’s employee-owners for joining VTG, anticipating collaborative future opportunities.
The acquisition enhances VTG’s capacity to support the Intelligence Community through MSI’s proven expertise. Founded in 1993, MSI specializes in delivering full software lifecycle development, cloud services, advanced cybersecurity, data science, and systems engineering. These sophisticated technical offerings directly address the complex and evolving challenges faced by federal agencies and further strengthen VTG’s National Security Capabilities.
Fueling Accelerated Growth
MSI marks VTG’s sixth acquisition in 2025, underscoring the firm’s dedication to scaling its specialized systems and services for government customers. Earlier in the year, the Chantilly, Virginia-based firm announced the addition of Loki Solutions, a specialist in intelligence and government system services. VTG also integrated Triaplex, Byte Systems, Iota IT, and Tunuva Technologies in May.
This series of targeted integrations positions VTG as a major, diversified force in the defense and intelligence technology sector, ready to tackle high-priority government technology modernization efforts. VTG continues to actively build a comprehensive technology platform capable of supporting the most critical missions across the federal landscape, substantially enhancing its overall National Security Capabilities.
