Ondas Holdings dramatically expanded its defense capabilities by announcing the definitive agreement to acquire Robo-Team Holdings, a key developer of Tactical Ground Robotics. This strategic move positions Ondas as a systems-of-systems, multi-domain autonomy leader, combining Roboteam’s proven unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) with Ondas’ existing aerial and counter-unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
The core goal of the acquisition is to create a unified architecture capable of coordinating both air and ground operations, significantly enhancing data fusion and mission flexibility for defense, homeland security, and public-safety organizations. Ondas incorporates the Roboteam HUB, an artificial intelligence-driven command-and-control platform, which integrates various robotic systems into a clear operational view.
Roboteam currently deploys its Tactical Ground Robotics with the U.S. Army, the Marine Corps, and the Israeli Ministry of Defense, operating across more than 30 countries. Ondas expects this global footprint to accelerate its entry into crucial U.S. and allied defense programs. Ondas chairman and CEO Eric Brock confirmed that the ground robotics capabilities strategically complement their autonomous aerial systems, forming a cohesive technology ecosystem. The newly expanded Tactical Ground Robotics portfolio is projected to generate substantial revenue, with a minimum of $30 million expected in 2026.
