CACI International successfully secured a potential five-year, $145 million task order to deliver crucial Naval engineering support to the U.S. Navy‘s Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Engineering and Planning Department. This significant contract ensures the continued fleet readiness, particularly for the critical undersea platforms that require continuous preparedness for rapid deployment. CACI will directly support the Navy as it manages the rapidly evolving maritime battlespace through advanced engineering solutions.
Advancing Undersea Fleet Readiness
The company will execute this task order by providing extensive assistance across various submarine and submersible engineering disciplines. This work focuses heavily on modernization, maintenance, and repair activities essential to keeping the fleet operational. CACI’s role includes technical engineering support for programs such as the Deep Submergence Systems Program (DSSP) and assisting the Navy’s Ships Availability Planning and Engineering Center with depot-level maintenance execution at the shipyard.
