Private equity firm McNally Capital successfully executed a strategic merger, combining its portfolio company Quiet Professionals with Spathe Systems to establish a powerful, new Defense Technology Platform. This move significantly expands the combined entity’s capacity to deliver essential support to U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) and the broader national security community.
The Tampa, Florida-based organizations—both veteran-owned—now command a combined workforce of over 400 professionals globally. They actively support critical defense, intelligence, and national security missions by providing expertise in key technical areas. The Defense Technology Platform offers integrated solutions across advanced analytics, cybersecurity, intelligence services, cloud adoption, workforce development, training, and defense operations.
New Leadership Drives Integrated Solutions
Quiet Professionals CEO Andy Wilson now steps into the role of chief executive, leading the unified platform, which will operate under a new name soon. Wilson stated that the merger creates a single, integrated platform, uniquely positioned to support customers’ evolving missions with greater agility, scale, and technical excellence. This action unites the organizations’ collective strengths, talent, and proven track records.
Spathe’s former CEO, Aaron Herbst, and President, Mark Clifton, join the board of directors, ensuring operational continuity alongside Chief Operating Officer Adam Herbst and other current leaders. McNally Capital believes the new platform effectively unites the best attributes of both highly respected companies, enhancing their ability to deliver technology-enabled solutions for the nation’s most critical security missions.
