MTX Group has significantly enhanced its public sector offerings by completing the acquisition of VerifyID.ai, a specialized digital identity verification platform serving government clients. This strategic move strengthens the global technology consulting firm’s footprint across the domains of artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity within the government market.
The integration of the VerifyID.ai platform is designed to provide government agencies—from federal to local levels—with access to secure, efficient, and citizen-centric digital identity management systems. It is aimed at reinforcing the public institution’s ability to deploy highly secure and user-focused services.
The platform utilizes sophisticated AI to establish facial and ID recognition. Crucially, it incorporates advanced capabilities for detecting deepfakes and spoofs while enabling decentralized identity verification. The technology fully supports password-less authentication and multi-factor verification, featuring liveness detection and thorough document integrity analysis, all aligned with stringent federal security standards.
Das Nobel, MTX founder and CEO, stated that the acquisition is a strategic step in the company’s mission to help both government and enterprise organizations modernize with trust and transparency. He emphasized that the advanced AI and decentralized architecture of the acquired technology will allow public sector agencies to reimagine how they verify and protect identities—securely, ethically, and at scale.
Girish Chhugani, the founder of VerifyID.ai and now MTX chief business officer, expressed excitement about bringing the platform to a broader global scale. He affirmed a shared goal to accelerate the evolution of secure, AI-driven identity verification that enhances trust and accessibility across essential government systems.
